Look carefully at those iPad demo videos Apple put up - they are from above, unnaturally steady and level to top of the frame. They were shot with an unseen support under them, something like a monopod going between the demonstrator's legs. I want my iPad like everyone else, but there will be some squirming in the ergonomics, that's for sure.

You also have to consider if the user is either far or near sighted. It affects how they use the iPad.
